My dream of making sailing my way of life is coming true! Between August 1 and December 4, I logged 18 sails on the San Francisco Bay — sailing with new friends, shipping traffic, eerie fog, becalmed waters, crazy winds, and breathtakingly beautiful sunsets. Widely varied conditions make the San Francisco Bay the perfect place for a budding skipper to grow and hone sailing skills. Although the landscape is always the same, every sail is uniquely challenging and inspiringly beautiful.
